Speedi-Beet from British Horse Feeds
Speedi-Beet was developed and is manufactured by Masham
Micronized Feeds and sold through British Horse Feeds, both of
which are divisions of the family owned business of IAnson Bros
Limited based in the Dales town of Masham, North Yorkshire. Masham
Micronized Feeds was formed in the 1970s to advance the new
technology of micronizing and is now recognized as being at the
forefront of this type of cooking technology. Many leading national
and international feed companies use ingredients produced by the
Masham Micronized Feeds.
British Horse Feeds is a brand recently aquired by I'Anson and
currently has Speedi-Beet and Fibre-Beet under this brand. New and
exciting products are currently being developed and will be
launched in readiness for the 2007 winter feeding period (October
2007)
IAnsons specialise in the production of high quality ruminant
feeds and supply farmers throughout Yorkshire and the North of
England. The company was founded in 1900 by Christopher IAnson and
is run by the fourth generation of his family today.
The company operates an advanced manufacturing mill and to
demonstrate this it is accredited to a number of internationally
recognized assurance schemes including the Universal Feed Assurance
Scheme (UFAS), Feed Materials Assurance Scheme (FEMAS) and Cert-ID
Non-GM. The company operates the only Cert-ID Non-GM certified feed
mill in the whole of the UK. The site is also completely medicines
free.
