Complementary feeds are formulated to have a high content of
certain nutrients, in order to provide a balanced diet when
combined with other feeds, such as forage. They are
not formulated to be fed alone, and should always be given
with a certain amount of forage.
Speedi-Beet and Fibre-Beet are both produced from sugar beet
subjected to our patented cooking process to produce a superb
complementary feed for horses. There's a high proportion of
soluble fibre, mostly pectins in Speedi-Beet, which means its fibre
is more easily digested than that found in forage like hay. This
makes it a great source of slow release energy, perfect for
competition horses.
