Available in over 20 different countries, Speedi-Beet is the World's No. 1 Quick Soaking Sugar Beet Flake.
Speedi-Beet is sugar beet pulp with no added molasses, which has been subjected to our patented cooking process to produce a superb complementary feed for horses.
There's a high proportion of soluble fibre, mostly pectins in Speedi-Beet, which means its fibre is more easily digested than that found in forage like hay. This makes it a great source of slow release energy, perfect for competition horses.
It's starch free and low in sugar, so an ideal feed for horses prone to Laminitis and we're proud to have achieved Laminitis Trust approval.
If you replace some or all of the starchy concentrate in your horse's diet with Speedi-Beet you'll provide higher fibre, lower starch and a more wholesome meal for your best friend.
Speedi-Beet is versatile. Feed it in small amounts to overweight horses as a carrier for a multivitamin and mineral supplement or in larger quantities to a poor doer for weight gain, or to a working horse for energy.
Since starting on Speedi-Beet, O’Malley has had improved energy levels, giving him more staying power during his endurance rides, without creating any added ‘excitability’ problems.

Preparing Speedi-Beet couldn't be easier.
Simply mix 5 parts of water to 1 part of Speedi-Beet by weight. That's about 2½ parts of water to 1 part of Speedi-Beet by volume. Leave to soak for 10 minutes using cold water or 5 minutes using hot water (fantastic in the winter to warm your horse!). Once Speedi-Beet has been soaked it can be fed straight away or it can be stored in a cool environment, enabling you to prepare in advance if you wish.
All new feeds should be introduced gradually.
DO NOT FEED DRY
Speedi-Beet is kinder on the gut than grain based feeds due to its high fibre and low sugar level, and at the same energy level as oats per kg dry matter, it's got a moderately high energy level too. Although Speedi-Beet has a better mineral balance than straight cereals with higher levels of calcium, we recommend you use a multipurpose mineral/vitamin supplement if feeding alone with forage.
Feed levels quoted are for guidance only. These levels are the daily allowance, which should be split between at least two feeds.
