British Horse Feeds Delighted as Laminitis Trust Award Grant for New Study

British Horse Feeds are delighted with the news that a new laminitis research study will commence after the Laminitis Trust awarded a grant of £134,425 to the Royal Veterinary College in collaboration with the Laminitis Consortium.

The study will investigate the effects of exercise on horses and ponies that are predisposed to pasture-associated laminitis. Starting this month, the project will run for two years with the consortium of world-leading equine veterinary, nutrition and research experts.

British Horse Feeds work closely with the Laminitis Trust to support their vital work and also produce two excellent feeds approved by trust; Speedi-Beet and Fibre-Beet.

Both feeds are approved by the Laminitis Trust thanks to their high fibre, low sugar content.
