Maria Eilberg Wins the British Horse Feeds Advanced Medium Open Winter Championship
Redditch-based Maria Eilberg and the eight-year-old black
stallion Woodlander Rockstar were on top form at the Winter
Dressage Championships securing first place in the British Horse
Feeds Advanced Medium Open Winter Championship with a high score of
68.95%.
The stunning Hannoverian stallion is British-Bred by Rotspun out
of Savannah and owned by Lynne Crowden of the Woodlander Stud. The
pair were first to go and held the lead to the end of the
competition.
Said Maria: "It was a long wait until the end of the class, I'm
so happy that we held onto it!"
"On the whole he was very relaxed. In one canter half-pass he
was holding a bit and looking but other than that I was happy with
the test," explained Maria.
The partnership has recently enjoyed success on the Spanish
Sunshine Tour winning several owners' classes and now have an
important year ahead of them as they move up to Pre St Georges
level.
