Mhairi Morrison Wins British Horse Feeds Style Jumping Final at Blair Castle
MHAIRI Morrison (15) and Solo her seven year old Irish X TB
gelding ran out the winners of the British Horse Feeds Style
Jumping final at Blair Castle Horse Trials.
Mhairi has owned Solo since November 2008 and the pair very
quickly formed a good partnership.
Said Mhairi: "I was delighted to win and it was extra special as
my grandparents had travelled up from Edinburgh to watch me compete
for the first time in years, it was also the first time they had
seen Solo."
After some hard fought competition a delighted Michelle Wilson
riding Tino Twister took the runner up position while Raymond
Wilson competing on Naomi Watson's horse, Moulan came in third.
The Scottish Riding Club Style Jumping Final held at Blair
Castle International Horse Trials was once again supported by
British Horse Feeds who were delighted with the competition.
Simon Parker of British Horse Feeds said: "We are very pleased
to support the competition at such a prestigious venue like Blair
Castle. Congratulations to Mhairi on her winning round."
Style Jumping is a Scottish Riding Clubs competition offering
riders the chance to prove they can tackle a course of show jumps
in good rhythm with the correct riding position. The winner is the
person who rides most efficiently with impulsion and balance.
The results for the Scottish Riding Club Style Jumping Final
2009 are as follows:
1st - Mhairi Morrison riding Solo
2nd - Michelle Wilson riding Tino Twister
3rd - Raymond Strachan riding Moulan, owned by Naomi
