British Horse Feeds, keen to reduce their carbon footprint, have
developed a new bag for Speedi-Beet which is not only fully
recyclable but also uses 12% less paper.
The reduction has meant a slightly squarer bag which will still
hold 20kg of product but has less impact on the environment.
Simon Parker of British Horse Feeds said: 'By working closely
with our designers and bag manufacturers we will continue to
innovate and find ways to reduce the impact our products have on
the environment'.
The company, where possible, is extending the initiative across
other products in its feed range.
