North Yorkshire-based Jodie McGregor (15) recently secured
sponsorship from British Horse Feeds after an impressive start to
the eventing season with her Connemara X Appaloosa gelding, Spot
On.
Said Jodie: "I am very excited to have sponsorship from a local
company; British Horse Feeds produce excellent feed and the ponies
are looking great."
The Wensleydale School student began her run in the pony trial
series, open to riders aged 16 or under on ponies measuring 148cms
or less, at the Oasby one-day event in the East Midlands where she
finished third.
Jodie and Spot On then travelled to Weston Park in Shropshire,
where they finished fifth in the pony trial, less than four marks
off first place. Dunloughan Wirlwind, Jodie's other pony, recently
competed with her at Richmond BE100JR finishing first.
Jodie feeds both of her ponies on Ultimate Performance Mix and
has noticed a great improvement in their performance and general
condition.
