Staying Power for Welsh Section A Stallion with Ultimate Performance Mix
Michelle Spoor is the owner of Welsh Section A stallion, Owston
Ragtime who regularly competes in dressage and showing with his
rider Rebecca Booth. Based just north of Doncaster, Michelle uses
Speedi-Beet and Fibre-Beet to keep her stallion and broodmares in
good condition all year round.
Michelle decided that Owston Ragtime was lacking in stamina and
so decided to try Ultimate Performance Mix from British Horse
Feeds.
Said Michelle: "I have tried several different makes and all to
no avail. However, I must say that the Ultimate Performance Mix
does actually make a difference to him, even though he only gets a
small teacup full per day. I have found that this is enough to
make a difference and not too much to make him go silly or off his
feet!"
Owston Ragtime is currently doing extremely well at dressage,
always in the placings with several first prizes and will hopefully
be doing 'affiliated' dressage over the winter.
Michelle also feeds Fibre-Beet to her stallion to supplement his
forage and keep condition on over the winter; she then uses
Speedi-Beet over the summer months to provide energy for work.
