The British Equestrian Trade Association (BETA) has their Feed Awareness Week annually to help horse owners understand and improve their knowledge of equine nutrition and cast away any feeding myths.
Running from March 27 to April 4, 2021, the UK initiative is supported by a number of leading brands including British Horse Feeds.
The focus is to work with BETA in providing sound nutritional advice from qualified nutritionists and experts, and focusing on good feeding practices.
It is really important to separate fact from fiction. With social media and the internet being a source of so much information, a lot of myths have developed over the years and equines welfare can be compromised when following incorrect feeding advice.
Hattie IAnson, Sales Manager of British Horse Feeds commented: We were really keen to be involved with BETA Feed Awareness Week because there are so many myths out there. This initiative can really help owners definitively know what not to follow.
Here at British Horse Feeds, we are extremely dedicated to providing top quality feed to our customers, but it is so important to make sure owners are not lead by untrue facts.
We also want to let our customers know that if you ever have a query, get in touch with us. The team here at British Horse Feeds & The Golden Paste Company have a wealth of knowledge and advice and have our consultant nutritionist, Dr Tom Shurlock on hand. The team really enjoy talking to customers and helping with any nutrition queries.
Make sure you look out for the hashtag #BFAW21 and on our social media for British Horse Feeds trusted feed facts. Dont forget to share with your friends, as this will help in raising the awareness.
