Janine Kell shared the story of Hugo, who arrived at her yard with another rescue horse in an incredibly poor state. He had no name, no passport no microchip and his veterinary records started with him called ‘Skinny 2’. Covered in lice and ringworm with terrible feet, he was fed a diet of hay and Fibre-Beet to help with his digestion before slowly being introduced to grass to avoid getting colic.
It took several months of dedication and a few life threatening moments along the way, but thanks to Janine, Hugo now has a happy ending with a new owner. He’s now out and about competing most weekends and always in the ribbons.
A Super Fibre conditioning feed, Fibre-Beet is a formulated blend containing all the benefits of the original Speedi-Beet product, with added high quality Alfalfa for optimum condition and to provide quality protein for muscle tone and function.
Fibre-Beet also provides a good range of minerals, trace elements and amino acids and it is high in fibre with a low sugar content, providing slow release energy without the ‘fizz’.
Ideal for horses prone to digestive upsets and very palatable for fussy eaters, Fibre-Beet has added biotin for hoof quality and is suitable for horses and ponies susceptible to laminitis.
