Simon and Natalie Reynolds are well-known for their huge success in the world of showing. Based in Lincolnshire, this husband and wife team have countless showing championship successes to their names. They have won HOYS 16 times, including lifting the Supreme Horse title there with the Clay’s prolific maxi cob Hallmark IX in 2013.
Well-known showing stars ridden and produced by the Reynolds include; four-times HOYS winning small hunter Sporting Sam, three-times HOYS winning lightweight cob Casanova, double HOYS winner Baileys Over Ice, HOYS and Royal Windsor winning heavyweight cob Morrows Marksman, as well as multi-champion cobs Copenhagen and Cobswallop to name just a few. Simon and Natalie are both on the judging panels for various societies, and Simon is also vice president of the Irish Draught GB Society.
The team has an impressive string of novice horses for next season, including novice cob Cruising Bay for owner Harriet Richardson, small hack Crafton Indian Spirit and novice show hunter Under Attack for Myles Cooper, and novice heavyweight hunter Bowland Jasper for Kay Sinclair-James. Out campaigning again will be the prolific winning cobs Copenhagen, owned by Rowena Stevenson, who has been second twice at the Royal International Horse Show and was fourth at HOYS in 2021, and multi-champion maxi cob Correl Wood for owner Ruth Parker.
