October is my favourite month of the year as it’s my Birthday month!
It started at Horse of the Year show where I was lucky enough to have qualified for the International classes there, which was the first time that I had been able to compete for the whole week.
I had an unlucky show with Hope Springs having a fence in the 1.50 world ranking class and my other ride TGF Rubin (who I borrowed last minute from my boyfriend Stevie) also having one down in a 1.45 class.
All in all, I had a great time and it was a fantastic experience to jump at one of the best shows with amazing atmosphere.
It was my last show with Hope Springs as he was then sold after HOYS.
The rest of the month we have been concentrating on our young horses with our six-year-old mare Galilea stepping up to jump her first 1.30m and jumping double clear at Stainsby Grange (my mum and dads show).
We have been to a few shows at Stainsby Grange in October, my eight-year-old mare Elrosa won a 1.30 with TGF Rubin 2nd.
Our next main show will be at Morris, Scotland in November with three young horses and TGF Rubin.
Fingers crossed it’s not too cold!
