British Horse Feeds is delighted to announce sponsorship of the Speedi-Beet HOYS Grade C Championship, for the fifth consecutive year. The series will
once again culminate with the Championship Final at Horse of the Year Show at
Birmingham’s Genting Arena.

The
Speedi-Beet HOYS Grade C Championship Series is for registered horses in Grade
C as at the 1st April of the current year and they are to be ridden
by an Adult, Associate or Junior member. Nearly five hundred competitors came
forward to contest the ten direct qualifiers that were held between May – August
in 2015. Joe Clayton and Millioninmind, an 8 year-old bay gelding owned by
Steve Barnes, shone in last year’s Championship to take the title as their own.

Speedi-Beet
is a highly nutritious, quick soaking beet pulp feed which is high in fibre and
can help to aid rapid rehydration for performance horses whilst optimising
energy release rate. This is due to the soluble fibre in Speedi-Beet, which has
a high water holding capacity increasing the amount of fluid in the horse’s
hindgut. This reservoir can then be drawn upon during prolonged exercise to help
replace water lost through sweating.

Commenting
on this announcement, Will I’Anson, Sales Director at British Horse Feeds, said
“We are looking forward to seeing an increased presence in the sport on top of
our already strong association with showjumping. This is now the fifth year of
sponsorship for Speedi-Beet and it continues to be a popular feed amongst
performance horses.”

Maria
Clayton, Head of Communications at British Showjumping commented “The HOYS
Grade C Championship is the ideal fit for the Speedi-Beet brand as it directly
aligns with the performance horse market. We are extremely grateful to be in
the fortunate position of announcing British Horse Feeds’ continued alignment
and we cannot thank them enough for all of their support.”

Competitors will have the
opportunity to qualify for the
Speedi-Beet HOYS Grade C Championship 2016 at the ten direct
qualifiers, which will be held during May – August.
