Finally, we have managed to get out to some shows with the team, and I am pleased to report that every horse that has been out has had a win!
We started off the season at Mid-Herts Country Show on April 8th, where Copenhagen (Teddy) won the Royal International Horse Show (RIHS) qualifier in the lightweight cob section. Later he then took the championship. Teddy is owned by Rowena Stevenson and was second at RIHS in 2019 so it is great that he has booked his place back there.
Then it was on to the BSPS Area 5 Three Shires Show on April 25th, where we took two young cobs. Lightweight cob, Cobweb (owned by Neil Fiddes) won the novice cobs and Correl Wood (Ben, owned by Ruth Parker) won the maxi cob class and qualified for RIHS.
It was then the turn of novice hunter Under Attack (Harry), owned by Kay Sinclair-James at a very, very, wet and windy BSPS Area 7 show at Bury Farm on May 9th. Harry has previously had a wonderful in-hand career with Billy Moran, including winning the supreme title at the Royal Highland Show.

Area 7 was Harry’s first show under saddle and he went superbly, to win the novice hunter class and coped so well in the very difficult weather conditions.

Our latest show was on May 10th, at White Rose County, where Copenhagen (Teddy) won another RIHS lightweight cob qualifier and again took the championship. We will soon be on to the HOYS qualifiers.
The horses are all looking really well and are fed on Fibre-Beet and Speedi-Beet, which keeps them in tip-top condition.
Speak soon, Simon and Natalie x
